Website Package Refunds
We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of purchase for our website packages. If you're not completely satisfied with your website, you may request a full refund within this period.
To qualify for a refund:
- Request must be made within 14 calendar days of purchase
- Written notice must be sent to support@lakewebco.com
- Must include your order number and reason for refund request
What Happens When You Request a Refund
If we approve your refund request:
- ✅ You'll receive a full refund of your initial website package fee
- ✅ Refund processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method
- ✅ No questions asked within the 14-day window
In exchange, we'll need to:
- 🔒 Revoke hosting access - Your website will be taken offline immediately
- 🔒 Disable dashboard access - You'll no longer be able to access your customer portal
- 📋 Transfer ownership rights - You agree not to copy, recreate, or use any elements of the website we created for you
What's Not Covered
- Domain registration fees (if we registered a domain for you, this is a third-party cost)
- Third-party service costs (payment processing fees, email services, etc.)
- Time spent on approved change requests (see below)
🛠️ Customization Requests Policy
Change Requests Are Final
Once you approve and pay for customization work:
- ❌ These payments are non-refundable
- ❌ Work cannot be "undone" for credit
- ❌ Time spent is billable regardless of final outcome
Why this policy exists:
- Our designers invest time and expertise in your custom requests
- Once work is completed, it becomes part of your website's value
- You can always request additional changes (at standard hourly rate)

Step 2: Formal Review Process
If we can't resolve your concern immediately:
- We'll conduct a formal review of your case
- You'll receive a written response within 72 hours
- We'll work with you to find a fair solution
Step 3: Third-Party Resolution
For complex disputes, we're happy to work with:
- Your credit card company's dispute resolution process
- Recognized business mediation services
- Better Business Bureau (if applicable)

Intellectual Property
- All website designs, code, and content created by Lake Web Co. remain our intellectual property until final payment
- Upon full payment, you receive a license to use the website for your business
- If you receive a refund, this license is immediately revoked
Service Limitations
- Refunds only apply to our direct services, not third-party costs
- We're not responsible for lost business or opportunity costs
- Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services
